SCCM 2012 Survey Results

The bioMérieux Sepsis Survey Project surveyed and interviewed 187 critical care specialists at the 2012 Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) conference. bioMérieux has been tracking sepsis prevalence trends and surveyed thousands of doctors, nurses and pharmacists over five years. See Results

IDSA 2011 Survey Results

Of the physicians surveyed during the 49th annual meeting of the Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA), held in Boston Oct. 20-22, 96% said that dramatically improving the speed of lab results is essential to curbing antibiotic resistance. See Results

ACEP 2009 and ACCP 2009 Survey Report

Two physician surveys were conducted in 2009 to gather recent information regarding the frequency of sepsis, its clinical impact and the management and treatment of sepsis in critical care and emergency departments. A total of 281 physicians were surveyed at the 2009 American College of Emergency Physicians Scientific Assembly held in October in Boston and the 2009 American College of Chest Physicians Annual Meeting held in November in San Diego.
